Raise your Spirits is available to assist you in planning your special party or event for your family, friends, and business regardless of how big or small. Do you often ask "What liquor, beer, and wine should I serve based on the age and drinking preferences of my guests? How much inventory do I need to have based on the amount of people attending? Does the type of venue or season matter when it comes to what to serve? What cocktails should I serve based on the type of party?  What cocktails would match the type of event I am having?  Raise your Spirits takes out the guess work and will do the work for you.

Raise your Spirits, independently-owned and operated by Michael Nagy, an experienced and professional mixologist and cocktail party/event planner, offers contemporary cocktail party planning, event/party planning, elite bartending services, and top-shelf cocktail services for cocktail parties, happy hours, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, business functions and corporate events, dinner parties, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, retirements, fundraisers, social events, holiday parties, and special life events. You pick the location - In your home, in the community, or place of business. 

What separates ‘Raise your Spirits’ from large bartending services and bar consultation firms is the hands-on personable approach given to your specific type of event or party. You choose what alcohol to have on hand (full bar if desired with your budget considered) with no different package level costs or additional fees, such as standard bartender fees, setup/breakdown costs, costs per person, and no maximum time frames. Do you want to have bar service without food or want to avoid the cost of renting a space? Do you want control over every aspect of your party or event in the privacy of your own home? Do you want the ability to choose your own bartender with a unique set of skills?

At Raise your Spirits, you will be charged either a rate per hour or flat rate per event depending on the event, number of people attending, and location. You can also have a cocktail menu designed for you to match your specific event, which will include the trendiest, coolest cocktails of the season and the best brands to use in those cocktails. If you desire, optional shopping services can be provided to you for a small fee. If you would like us to mix up any infusions, sangrias, or batched cocktails, please let us know so we can determine cost.

Raise your Spirits offers free consultations by phone, email, or web. If you desire a face-to-face meeting, that can be arranged as well free of charge. There is no cost to you until you agree to the services. No obligation! Once you agree to the services, we just ask for a 25% deposit to get started and reserve the date and a signed independent contractor agreement outlining costs and services. Raise your Spirits is cost-effective and convenient...

You select and purchase the beverages you want served or leave it up to us to make recommendations. You can also use our optional shopping services if you want us purchase the alcohol for you to save you time and take away the worry of what to buy. All we require is a 10% convenience/travel fee added on to the reimbursed cost of the alcohol. Just tell us your alcohol budget and we will stay under it.  We arrive one hour prior to the event to set up the bar, cut garnishes, and ice down the beverages so that everything is ready for your guests as they arrive.

  • We are happy to consult with you on beverage quantities, varieties, glassware, and other items as well as make Sangrias, Infused Liquors, and batched cocktails for your event.
  • Your bar is customized to fit your and your guests’ taste profiles.
