I've been waiting with much anticipation to unveil my warming and decadent December cocktails. It's that time of year to round up your family, friends and neighbors and host an epic holiday party that will dazzle them and be the talk of the town for months to come. What better way to bring people together and combat those seasonal winter blues.
Everybody seems to serve and drink the typical December, holiday cocktails of Egg Nogs, Hot Toddies, Hot teas and coffees. Why not break away from the norm and try some different concoctions this time of year. If you're not planning to entertain this year, slip on your winter slippers or wool socks, grab that ugly Christmas sweater, and curl up in front of the fireplace sipping one of these cocktails. If you want to get adventurous and get toasted, try one of the shots at the end of the post.
