Cocktail Spotlight - Cocktail And Mocktail Of The Week

While I work on my next award-winning book, blog posts will be limited, but I will be offering up a 'cocktail and a mocktail of the week' for all you avid cocktail enthusiastsand non-drinkers. The featured cocktails and mocktails will be seasonal as well as some of my personal favorites that are proven and stood the test of time...Happy Mixing!

This cocktail was chosen by the host for her annual Christmas/Holiday party on Dec 13th with 60 plus guests, light food service, and valet parking. It is symbolic of a red carpet event. 'The theme of the party is red poinsettias and celebratory in nature so I crafted this cocktail incorporating the color red, sophistication, and perfect for a celebration. I will be batching the cocktail when I arrive since it will be the signature drink of the evening.
